The Wharfs food was pretty good, but for the price was a bit rough. My pasta was great but wifes fish had some really thick batter on it, but the fish itself was good. The server was clearly new but was pretty on top of everything. Made sure our drinks were topped off, when we asked for something, was a little slow getting it back to us, but as I said, new and learning. While the inside was decorated very uniquely, and I say that in a good way, the live music was so loud it was hard to hear each other. Over all it was pretty good, but a party of 6 ran almost a 300 dollar ticket, so expect to spend some money if you come. Also be warned, there is a guaranteed 20% tip added to the ticket.
Inside was a loud music group performing. Impossible to talk over the volume. So we sat outside on the patio walkway and enjoyed the street scene and breezes. Limited beer menu was the only negative..and out of some brands. The food was stellar - swordfish steak moist and cooked perfectly, the best broccolini ever! Moist, lightly seasoned, superb! The shrimp and grits a gastronomic journey of its own. 5 stars!!
Great place for seafood! they have a happy hour that starts at 9pm and has crab legs on it. We got the crab & mozzarella balls 8/10 very good. Grilled oysters 8/10. The live music really sets the vibe and servers at fantastic
We arrived about 6pm and place was empty except one person at the bar, and a couple in a booth. We were sat immediately and told it could take a while for the food to come out since it was a “scratch” kitchen. We were looking forward to a scratch made meal!!!! We ordered drinks and appetizers, they come out immediately and surprisingly, the meals came out within 10 minutes of the appetizers. For entrees, we had Scallops over Risotto, and a Grouper Sandwich. The Scallops were were to die for but the Grouper Sandwich was disappointing in portion size, but delicious.
Great atmosphere with live music & in a lively area as well. Food and drinks were good. Service was a bit slow and took a while to get some beers but waitress was super nice about it.
This place was pretty cool. The live band was great and so were the drinks. I ordered the seafood pot pie, but it actually didn't have as much seafood as I expected, but nonetheless it was still good. Would definitely go back for the drinks and atmosphere.
